When does a young person become an adult? This is an issue our culture is having difficulty addressing. The age in which a young person is expected to be independent and take on adult responsibility has been slowly increasing. Now parents are talking about how their 20 something children are still hanging around home. This situation was just addressed in a humorous fashion in the movie Failure to Launch.

Friday and Saturday evening, October 27-28, I attended the Truth Project training conference in Atlanta, Georgia sponsored by Focus on the Family. I have been teaching worldview classes to high school students for the past three years. This was an opportunity to be trained to lead worldview classes geared toward adults in a small group setting. Focus on the family is known as the gold standard for quality books, videos and study materials to build the home.
